About
I first started getting into video production in secondary school. I would always be a part of the backstage crew in our schools theatre productions and loved that I was helping create the look of the show. This lead on to amateur music videos of my friends skateboarding, mountain biking and snowboarding.
During university I was one of the top graduates and was voted to give the student vote of thanks at our university graduation ceremony. I also founded and ran the Universities’ first television station and won a Royal Television society award for my dissertation documentary.
I’m now working full time in the UK television industry and have been fortunate to learn a great deal and have applied these skills I’ve learnt to all the production I have worked on. Some of which include:
- Researching, casting and finding contributors for sequences.
- Self shooter, experience in using Sony Z1/5, EX1/3, Canon XF305 and other broadcast cameras.
- Fluent in using post production software such as Final Cut Pro, Avid, After Effects and Flash.
- Worked with talent including Jimmy Carr, Charlie Brooker, Lauren Laverne & Gordon Ramsay.
- Communication skills implemented on location and via the telephone with contributors, members of the public, councils and businesses.
- Extensive experience working in studios and on location with small and large crews.
- Experienced in using windows and apple platforms including software such as Microsoft office.
