• Part of a 5 person team prepping and shooting 5 to 6 VT’s a week to strict deadlines

Production Assistant – ‘10 O’Clock Live’ 15 x 60min C4 – Endemol 01/11–05/11

• Editing clips of the show using Final Cut Pro, for promotional use for future guests.
• Assisting the VT team with various tasks in the office and on location.
• Rig, de-rig and operation of cameras for screen tests and last minute VT’s
• General assistant during studio days.

10/2010 - 12/2010

Jnr. Researcher – ‘Great British Menu 6’ 45 x 30min – BBC2 – Optomen

• Working closely with the SP, PD and AP creating VT’s
• Assigned contributors to research, construct stories ideas and set up their VT shoots.
• 2nd HD camera duties including shooting GV’s, interviews and actuality.DIT
• Assigned contributors to research and construct stories for their VT’s
• Duties included organising locations, cold calling and specific detailed research
• Assisting the P/D on location as part of a four person HD crew including responsibilities getting signed release forms and digitally labelling/backing up the footage.

05/2010 – 10/2010

Production Runner – ‘Ramsay’s Best Restaurant’ 12 x 60min – C4 – Optomen

• Working with and looking after talent including Mr Ramsay whilst on location
• Assisting the PD’s and AP’s while on location of  which included responsibilities such as rig and de-rig of DSR camera equipment, getting release forms signed and paper logging
• Assisting the editorial team with jobs such as casting and cold calling
• Assisting the production team with administrative and technical tasks in the office and out on location
• Shooting GV’s on a Sony DSR 450 under the supervision of a shooting AP or PD

02/2010 – 05/2010

Location/Camera Assistant – ‘Filthy, rotten scoundrels’ BBC1 - 15 x 45min – Leopard films

• Representing the BBC while on location by communicating with contributors, councils, businesses and the general public.
• Assisting the Producer/Director on location as part of a two person crew including responsibilities such as paper logging, gaining release forms and organisation/sourcing contributors.
• 2nd camera duties including shooting GV’s, interviews and Actuality. (self shot show reel on request)

• Representing the BBC while on location by communicating with contributors, businesses and the general public.
• Assisting the Producer/Director on location as part of a two person crew including jobs such as paper logging, gaining release forms and responsibility of expenses.
• Assisting the Producers with post production of the programme.
• Organisation and prioritisation of tapes and Logs.

Office Runner – RDF Media

• Assisting producers and researchers for various programmes.
• Logging, digitizing, editing and dubbing of various media (e.g. DV tape, DVD, Digi Beta etc)
• General upkeep of the board rooms and hospitality for meetings and special events

• Assisted on programmes such as ‘The Secret millionaire’, ‘Kirsty’s homemade homes’ and ‘Instant Restaurant’

Production Runner/Logger - ‘Grease the School Musical’ Sky1 8 x 60min - Mentorn

• Assisting the Production and Editorial teams on location and in the office.
• Working with a team of runners prioritising and executing tasks.
• Cleared release forms for participants that appeared on each episode.
• Prioritised tapes and distributing tasks to the rest of the team.
• Transcribing of Interviews, events and emotions that happens on each tape.

Office/Studio Runner - Hat Trick Productions (Work experience)

• Logging, digitizing, editing and dubbing of various media (e.g. DV tape, DVD, Digi Beta etc)
• Recording casting sessions.
• Studio Runner on the set of ‘Have I Got News for You’ at The London Studios.
• General upkeep and organisation of the board rooms for meetings and special events.
